Partners for
Change

We work to bring stability to rural communities and families in the mountains of Honduras by sourcing our coffee direct from local growers and helping ensure payment of fair wages to workers.

Our MISSION

The mission of Melton Trading Co. is to facilitate the growth of self-sufficient communities in rural Honduras by providing an outlet for locally-sourced products to a larger market. By helping local farmers distribute their goods to a broader consumer base, we enable them to increase production, hire additional workers, and reinvest in their local communities.

Building
SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES

By purchasing and distributing locally-sourced products, we enable rural villages to grow their economies and gain access to additional streams of revenue not previously available.

Strengthening
RURAL FAMILIES

By providing jobs in mountain communities, family members do not need to leave home to seek employment in other parts of the country.  Families are able to build a stable, lasting life together.

Actively
GIVING BACK

During times of difficulty, such as the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic which left many Hondurans out of work, Melton Trading Co. has stepped in to provide food and nutritional resources to rural families.
